This is an album of studio experiments from late in the last century. Many of these pieces started out as sketches to test new gear, software or techniques. As the album took form, it seemed that there was a cinematic quality to the project, but "Themes to Imaginary Films" seemed cliched, pretentious, and, given the scope of the project, somewhat overly grand. Hence the subtitle. I originally burned about 25 copies as Chrsitmas presents, as people heard the album, I got requests for more copies, and eventually gave away about 250, each one burned individually and hand assembled. As it turns out, I don't even have a single physical copy remaining.

This version is newly remastered in 2018.
